It is actually the first part of an attempt at another shared universe franchise with Universal monster movie properties. This universe will also include Dracula and Frankenstein so those are some more fun facts. But also yeah if this sort of movie is your jam(like monster-y stuff and so on) then go see it so Sofia Boutella can make a bazillion dollars she’s really great
